Iced Yerba Mate

As a barista for 7+ years, I grew fond of mate lattes. This is my summer twist for a refreshing and bright patio drink.

Ingredients:

◦ 1/4 cup Yerba mate whole leaf tea

◦ 5 mint leaves

◦ spoonful of honey

◦ 6 cups water

Instructions:

◦ Use a French press to make your Yerba mate and mint, let sit for 2 hours.

◦ Take a spoonful of honey and place in large jar, Transfer French press tea to the jar letting it run over the honey spoon.

◦ Store in fridge overnight.

◦ Serve over ice, grab some cherries, a good book, and enjoy!

◦ This recipe serves about 2 16 oz glasses.
